USS Equinox - In the Star Trek fictional universe, the USS Equinox (NCC-72381) was a Nova class starship in Starfleet under the command of Captain Rudy Ransom. He was a renowned exo-biologist who had made first contact with the Yridians, a species thought to be extinct by the United Federation of Planets and the Borg Collective.
